Parliament is a creative company that oozes of good taste and great talent for design. This is very obvious throughout their website, their entire portfolio, as well as their beautiful industrial headquarters.

Joe Hewitt and his girlfriend Laura Copeland have created a beautiful photo blog. What's most exciting about this site is the fantastic scroll-based user interface built on Joe's Scrollability. Thanks to this the site is a joy to experience across devices, especially on my iPhone 4. Joe has also written a post about the project. In his words: "Inertial scrolling is a fundamental part of touch screen devices, regardless of their visual design, and should be used more often on the web."

iPhone app teaser websites come a dime a dozen. iPhone app teaser websites of this calibre however are much, much harder to come by. Scrolling this site is so enjoyable that I think it's right to compare it to the spectacular and very successful Ben the Bodyguard site. Seldom has a small project like developing a teaser site been turned into such a wonderful result. Great work by Image Mechanics.

Nokia rarely does anything that catches my eye. But with the launch of the MeeGo/Qt powered N9 I have realized that the Finnish company is actually able to "get" some of what's wrong with their usual lineup of phones. In fact, what I found most impressive with the launch was the very well done UX Guidelines site. This looks to be a great tool for UX designers looking to build apps for the N9. Well done, Nokia. There's no denying that Paul Kelley aka Ch3mical has made himself a great single page portfolio site. He pulls it off by combining a straight forward text based presentation with a very clever presentation of external links. Via @ozlarsen.

Push Pop Press is a new digital publishing platform that's attempting to redefine the way we publish and experience books. Quite a bold ambition for a small startup. Judging by their first publication however — Al Gore's "Our Choice" — I think they've built the best platform of its kind to date. Never has an interactive book felt this intuitive, fun and user friendly. UI Designer Mike Matas explained the platform in a little more detail in a recent TED talk. Lest not forget that they've done a damn fine job with the website as well.

Lovely redesign by Dan Mall. The homepage is both clever and simple. Not to mention the superb portfolio navigation and the individually art directed articles. One of the most fascinating portfolio designs in a while. It's a site that subtly points out why Dan is considered one of the best.

Here's a goodie. A superbad single page portfolio site that is basically designed as an interactive poster. The typography and colors throughout, as well as the calls to action are all so well designed that you would be stupid not to be impressed. Check it out.

Kurppa Hosk is an interdisciplinary brand and design consultancy based in Stockholm. Their brand new portfolio site is truly slick. Not much more to say than that this is well worth a closer look.
