Even though JB are my initials as well, I'm sad to not be able to claim some fame for the design of this Tumblelog. The typography and layout is great, but what really makes this one sparkle is how Jarred Bishop has made use of background images to accompany the photos. Well done, sir!

This London based digital production agency has a lot going for them. Among those things is this amazing portfolio. The typography, the navigation, the shapes and the colors. It all makes sense. Via Smashing Magazine.

First to kick off the new supersized screenshots here on Styleboost is Jolicloud. The site is subtle, clean and very easy to grasp. If you don't want to download the Jolicloud software after visiting, I can't really help you.

Mark Jardine is a mac loving, character sketching, picture snapping designer living in Silicon Valley, California. His tumblog tells me he loves his iPhone. He did in fact design the beautiful Tapbots interface, which bears some resemblance to this yummy tumblog. All in all, Mark pays a lot of attention to details and has a great taste for layered interface graphics.

The official website of WonderWall/Masamichi Katayama with assistance from the one and only Yugo Nakamura. I'm amazed by the way this site manages to be both playful and interesting, while at the same time making the information readable and browsable. It's a lot of fun to use.

Norwegian web designer duo Emil Bonsaksen and Christer Austad launched their lovely portfolio earlier this week. The colors, the graphics, the details and the logo. It all comes together perfectly. (The site is in Norwegian only, despite the English name.)

This all Flash portfolio takes a deep dive into experimental navigation and comes out on top. I love the way you navigate through the photos/screenshots within each project. The FWA has an interview with Hello Monday's Anders Jessen.

Oh goodie! A cute little retro gaming themed illustration portfolio. The sound fx makes me want to mouseover over and over again.
