The tumblelog of Garrett Murray recently got a visual overhaul. You can tell that this guys likes his Macs just by looking at the visuals. I'm not saying that he's copying Apple's designs, most definitely not. I'm just saying that he's showing the same kind of attention to little graphics and typographic details. I'm also saying that I love how this design turned out. It's a simple tumblelog that comes out on top, and I'm diggin' it.

Mr. Doob just started working for Hi-ReS!, which in turn brought my attention to his blog/portfolio, which is quite rad. The blog is a beauty and the works on display show off some of the best Flash work I've ever seen. Especially being just one person. Impressive.

Adelaide South Australia based IT support specialists in Mac and Windows small business server. Their website isn't designed as a fantastic new layout or a completely unique idea. Instead, it's a direct approach with tabs, icons, etc. Instead of reinventing the weel, the designers have focussed their skills on the details. This one is done with great love and it shows. Very straight forward and very well done. Via Web Creme.

Grooveshark is a music-sharing community in which users listen to music for free online, download music, and earn free songs for sharing. The site interface for this app is lovely. This is the kind of site I would love to be able to say that I had designed myself. The graphics are so sharp, and the information so well laid out. Make sure to take a look at Grooveshark lite.

Laurent Baumann (aka AveTenebrae) is a french graphic designer, working in a press agency and doing some icon design during his free time. Although his portfolio site has been around for some time, I just recently rediscovered it as I was collecting the names and portfolios of great icon designer. I think this site definitely deserves some linkage as it is a great example of how to make a site that oozes of Mac. I mean that in a good way. Notice the narrow column, the delicious graphics, the drop shadow and the incredible icons.

Discover the future of tennis through Lacoste's futuristic celebration of its 75th anniversary. This is flawlessly done and should saturate most of you Flash junkies out there. I really like the designs reminiscent of Chris Cunningham's work or the movie I, Robot. There are some great wallpapers to be had, too.

Volll is a small European atelier for design and development based in Budapest, Hungary. The scrolling of this site is a good example of how to make it fun to find your way around a portfolio. I love the nice touch with the animated details on mouseclick. Cute, friendly and fun.

I think this is the third redesign of purevolume™ that is featured here on Styleboost. While Ryan Sims has been in charge of the previous two, it's now time for Tyson Rosage to step up to the challenge. He does it with style. While this is no huge leap away from previous installments, it now feels more lightweight, a bit tighter and completely delicious. Once again, purevolume becomes an even better site.

Dan Cederholm just gave his world famous SimpleBits a brand new coat. It's the same but it's different. The latest realignment by Dan is my favorite version to date. He manages to keep a lot while changing it quite radically. This time he's going for an elastic grid that scales beautifully in my browser. This has to be one of the most impressive site designs I've ever seen. Via Shaun Inman.

Despite the fact that this one is way too frustrating to navigate, it's still well worth a closer look. The animations, the colors, the graphics and the experimental combination of these make for a great experience. I really like the textures and graphics. Site by Endorfine.
