Toronto based Nick La's portfolio/blog/playground is an outstanding work on its own. It is a design that has a great deal of details and an amazing color scheme for such a clean layout. I only have one issue with this one; the ads. They seem cluttered and random, and take up way too much of my attention while I'm visiting the site.

Brazilian graphic designer Marcos Paulo is only 20 years old, but already has an impressive portfolio to show off. He makes use of the classic one-page layout in combination with delicious colors and subtle Flash animation.

Graphic designer Andreas Pihlström's portfolio is very unusual, but only as a portfolio. What I mean, is that its navigation is laid out the same way as most blogs are. Take a look, you'll see what I mean. I really like this, as well as the great works on display.

One of Norway's most talented young designers over the past few years, Eirik Seu Stokkmo, has new work on display in his portfolio. I wish the portfolio was either a bit more straightforward (e.g. no popups) or a bit more over the top. Still, there's more than enough to drool over in the design and logo sections.

Self titled is John Iacoviello's Flash masterpiece as far as wrapping and navigation goes. Play around with, I know you'll love it. The details and ingenuity of the navigational system he's developed is so playful that I always end up clicking my keyboard and moving my mouse around for minutes on end without feeling the urge of accomplishing anything.

This is the most cpu-intensive site I can ever recall visiting. There's just so much going on, so much interaction, animation, audio and graphics jumping at you, that you can't not enjoy this rollercoaster-ride of a website. I don't understand much, but it sure impresses me on a few levels.

The portfolio of New Zealand born graphic designer Steve Leggat is sparkling with its vivid colors and sharp work. It's a great example of what's needed to draw my attention to a portfolio site. The presentation is clean and simple without being boring.

Chunk is an online marketing/design agency which combines original ideas and digital design to produce campaigns for their clients. One of their aims seems to be to achieve successful viral results with their work. I love the way these Scots use vivid colors to emphasize the navigation. Flash is also used in a subtle and tasteful way.

Base One is a complete communications agency located in London. What strikes me about their website design is the way it is separated. Three areas of operations, three distinct colors. Very nice.

Flash is used here for some cool transitions and logo typography effects that couldn't have been accomplished with Macromedia's Adobe's popular software. The loading bar is a very nice touch.
