Sofia is a Portuguese interactive designer based in Soho, London. Her website stands out in several aspects: 1) The color palette is yummy, 2) The work presented is smashing and 3) The crazy tilted layout is surprisingly pleasant to use.

Dario's work is always inspiring and beautiful, and with his latest additions even more so. His style is complex, without drawing attention away from the core of the work. An unusually talented designer and filmmaker, but most of all an artist!

Your favorite republic is now updated to version 6. The site is turning more and more into a T-shirt shop. And it's a great collection of shirts, too. Looking forward to the spring 2003 collection. Brooklyn seems to be speaking Japanese these days.

This new media design firm was set up early in 2000 by Rick Palmer and Liz Vaughan. Their broadband site is very nice, especially the interface. I love the way they've combined different photos with 3D objects. Very different and very cool.

Berlin-based Sven Stüber of Superlooper has a fresh portfolio up! His illustrations are, as always, wonderful and cool. The site has a very nice interface and makes use of pop-up windows without annoying the user.

Showroom Romeo has very little actual information. What makes Showroom Romeo make the list is its subtle but (as far as I have seen) very creative use of flash mouseover effects. Visit their studio and move your mouse over the rooms. It's quite cool.

The web seems to be full of great sites like this one. It is the online portfolio of photographer Scott Baggett. I have never heard of it before, but is well-designed and includes lots of cool photos.
