I'm selling colors, the tagline for Adhemas Batista's portfolio site is very fitting. His work makes powerful use of bold colors often combined with abstract or almost psychedelic shapes and imagery. I've been so lucky to have had the joy of relying on his services a few years ago, and can attest to his mad skills. His portfolio was last showcased here on Styleboost in 2006, but was recently redesigned.

Despite discovering this site through Smashing Magazine's Showcase of Web Design In Germany, I find this Swiss site to to be quite a beauty. There are so many details, and the changeable background color is a nice touch.

This concept behind this website is very simple and quite obvious. I think the fact that it's so obvious in combination with the implementation makes this a really great site. Impressive for sure.

I think this one's some months old, but I can't understand why I haven't posted it here on Styleboost until now. Strange. As a matter of fact, this site is very detailed and oozes of highly skilled craftsmanship. It's hard to describe how well done all the graphics are. This one you just have to experience for yourself.

Swedish Television recently launched their web based TV site with help from Doberman. SVT Play is the mothership of SVT's Public Service initiative to reach out to its audience on the web. At SVT Play, you can lean back and enjoy the show you missed yesterday, and find new interesting entertainment. Too bad the site (and the shows) are in Swedish only, because this is one sweet piece of work. I hope others take notice and learn a thing or two about great user experiences from SVT Play.

The 365 Days of Astronomy Podcast is a project that will publish one podcast per day, for all 365 days of 2009. The podcast episodes are written, recorded and produced by people around the world. They definitely did something extra with the design of this one-year blog. It's very unusual for science related sites to look this good.

Logistetica is a design boutique specializing in web and print design, branding and corporate identity for small and medium businesses. Their site stands out like a dark and shiny purple gem. I especially like the cross-browser mini-navigation. Overall, it seems like these people know exactly what they're doing, and how to do it right. Via Web Creme.

The official site for the HBO Voyeur mini series is outstandingly creative. To the MAX! That's what I said to myself while taking a first look at this spiffy site. Lots of bells and whistles, and it works very well. Quite the masterpiece, if you're into all-encompassing, massive Flash sites.

Volll is a small European atelier for design and development based in Budapest, Hungary. The scrolling of this site is a good example of how to make it fun to find your way around a portfolio. I love the nice touch with the animated details on mouseclick. Cute, friendly and fun.
