The Clubhouse is a beautifully quirky little blog containing interviews, art, news and doodles by selected artists. It's also a way for Carbonmade to show off the range and quality of their users. Truly inspiring and very well designed blog. There's nothing quite like it.

Joshua Topolsky & friends' just launched a very promising new tech news site. It's worth noting that they are creating a true next gen editorial news site. I love the way they've laid out the homepage plus the way they've colored some of the photos. Learn more about this new venture.

I love the visual profile of Friends of The Web. The color palette reminds me of data centric services and tools like Google. They come across as an agency it'd be fun to work with. The Project Inquiry/General Contact option is also a great touch on the Contact page.

It's no surprise that when legendary web designer Bryan Veloso is getting married to his beautiful fiancé Jennifer Verduzco, his wedding website is designed with great care. As always with Bryan's work, the colors, textures, typography and graphics are beautifully crafted down to the very last detail. Also, I think the the "Honeyfund" is superb. Congrats!

Nokia rarely does anything that catches my eye. But with the launch of the MeeGo/Qt powered N9 I have realized that the Finnish company is actually able to "get" some of what's wrong with their usual lineup of phones. In fact, what I found most impressive with the launch was the very well done UX Guidelines site. This looks to be a great tool for UX designers looking to build apps for the N9. Well done, Nokia. Styleboost regulars Emil Bonsaksen and Anthoni Giskegjerde and the rest of the team at I&M have done a great job with the recent redesign of their website. I really like what the grid, the use of white space and the typography throughout.

Twitter UI designer Mark Otto recently released an add-on pack for LESS that is sure to simplify the development process for a lot of Styleboost's readers. That in itself, however useful, does not make this worthy of posting here. But Mark designed an irresistible site to accompany the software, so now I'm left with no choice but to post it here. You should also follow @mdo on Twitter.

MailChimp recently launched a brand new site design. Overall I think this is very impressive. Especially the way they've managed to make something unique while at the same time keeping it clean and elegant. @obox has posted some criticism about the way they communicate what they do, and I partially agree with this. Still, a wonderful site design both visually and functionally. I have to take a look at the "logged in" view.

Cognition is Happy Cog's space for sharing thoughts on design, experience, code and more. Even though the design of the site is very well done with a great color scheme and wonderful navigational aspects, the most outstanding part of the site is the way they've implemented Twitter as the main interface for article comments.

Rumpetroll aka ass trolls is an impressive social experiment by @danielmahal, @hpeikemo, @hugoahlberg and @simenbrekken. This is a very good example of what can be achieved with emerging web standards. This site a chat room disguised as a beautiful pool of cute little tadpoles. The technology behind the scenes is a mix of HTML5 Canvas, WebSockets, JavaScript and CSS 3. The project is open and hosted on github.
