Lovely redesign by Dan Mall. The homepage is both clever and simple. Not to mention the superb portfolio navigation and the individually art directed articles. One of the most fascinating portfolio designs in a while. It's a site that subtly points out why Dan is considered one of the best.

Kurppa Hosk is an interdisciplinary brand and design consultancy based in Stockholm. Their brand new portfolio site is truly slick. Not much more to say than that this is well worth a closer look.

The redesigned online presence of Teehan+Lax here is such a great site in so many ways. For one, even the cutting edge use of the html5 video tag as a background element is elegantly responsive. The site is simple throughout, but this is definitely not "boring" or "cheap" simple. It is a top notch site clearly among the most wonderful of its kind anywhere on the web. Jaw-dropping. Via @mdo.

Not only has Orman Clark created a wonderful resource for other designers, it is also very beautifully presented. Great stuff all around.

Styleboost regulars Emil Bonsaksen and Anthoni Giskegjerde and the rest of the team at I&M have done a great job with the recent redesign of their website. I really like what the grid, the use of white space and the typography throughout.

Check out Sam Dallyn's portfolio and you will see that he's a crazy good designer. His portfolio is just as good as his client work, so you should definitely take a good long look at it.

Rome: "3 Dreams of Black" is an ambitious interactive film made by Chris Milk with help from Google. The project was made as a Chrome experiment to show off the power of WebGL, basically enabling hardware-accelerated 3D graphics in the web browser without a plug-in. It's very impressive technologically and a mesmerizing beauty to behold. And they have done a good job of sharing the code and explaining the basics behind the development.

This one here is definitely no site in its own right. Rather, it's a single page sign up page for the Things Cloud Sync Beta pilot. What makes it worthy of a mention is a combination of the visuals and the CSS animations. Very inspiring. I also want to add how much I love the aesthetics, illustrations and level of details that Cultured Code always puts into their work.

It's not very often that I post a "coming soon" landing page here on Styleboost. This one is worth it, however, as it makes great use of CSS3 animations. Even though intro animations basically at the turn of the millennium, Kickoff shows that they can work in the right context. Well done! Via @jay_hollywood.

Paravel are back with yet another home run. This one reminds me why I love their work. Perfect textures, layout, illustrations, content balance, typography, and so on and so forth. Truly inspiring to see that they have such a knack of creating so much high quality and unique work.
