Rune Wold takes it all the way with his latest redesign of his portfolio site for his personal company Store Norske Design Kompagni. With an impressive network of friends and coworkers, it is easy to see that he is influenced by quite a few. Sweet colors and some very good details.
Agree with you dag. The site is very impressive. From What I have seen of Norwegian design before, this site really takes it all the way. Anyone know how he did the mouse over effects, and maybe a url to a tutorial? I’m also looking forward to the bureau storm site and that card designer looks cool.

Hi Steven. For the mouse over effect, my guess would be that they have made the effect in After Effects with the trapcode plug-in (trapcode.com) , and then exported it as a movie with an alpha channel, and then they have put the movie inside a movieclip on mouse over. but that is just my guess. any other suggestions?

Thanks for your nice comments. I’m truly honoured.
I have made the effect just as Dag point out. Except I have made it in a self standing MC and using a transparent button to execute it. This way it’s easier to control in and out animation. You can find a .fla file under “about” you can open and take a look at.
