This isn't the best site in the world, although it's not half bad. The reason for providing some sweet linkage for a Microsoft site like this one, is to give them props when they - for once - do something right UI-wise. It's simple and elegant - the exact opposite of the latest Microsoft Office 12 interface.
Seems to me to be a simplified picasa clone.

In fact, as I tried to install WinFX (required by Max), my XP Pro crashed beyond recognition. I fixed it, but it took a quite a bit of fooling around in the registry. Now I'm scared from trying out Max again. It looks nice, though.

The site dosen't even work on a Mac using Safari..

Interesting way of putting it. I guess you are right. They do deserve some type of credit ;-) It's very nice, clean and up to date.
