 #6 Martin Johansson on August 16, 2006

Was this post here just so everyone can post their myspace addresses? :D I don't see how this site is worthy of being on styleboost!

Here is my mess: myspace.com/markp_com

 #7 Mark P.com on August 16, 2006

here is a good one timbenzinger

 #8 Goodorbad on August 16, 2006

I'm with Mark P.com, but here's a few ... this one, and this one, and this one..

 #9 Clint Mcmanaman on August 16, 2006

Wow, some pretty good designs. Guess I better step my game up. The missionarypositions and Tim Benzinger pages are awesome.

 #10 Ryan Chase on August 16, 2006

It looks like his profile style is pulled directly form the Mike Davidson tutorial and style write up

http://www.mikeindustries.com/blog/archive/2006/04/hacking-myspace-layouts

Ivan mentions his profile in the first comment.

(the NOTES {} in the style give it away every time, that and the double borders)

here's one I did up for a friend myspace.com/creamapparel and here's a reverse engineering style I did that shows how to target specific elements in the profile myspace.com/layout_beta. Just view source and search for the style tag, it's fairly well commented.

Yes, it's definitely a mikeIndustries tutorial 'template'... guess that makes my MySpace page a StyleBoost worthy site too, eh? *chuckles*

I'm the Daniel Stout (my myspace) that Mike links to in his article, for helping him with some of the issues with IE he was having.)

 #13 Daniel Stout on August 17, 2006

Well i did see better myspaces than zachs. except javascript you can do the full monty of customization with myspace. Hide whatever you want, replace with flash or whatever. but i am pretty new to this - myspace.com/spyline - i wonder why there is no styleboost @ myspace??

 #14 Jan Weiss on August 17, 2006

now have i made my myspce profil... it's not much, myspace/martinjohansson

 #15 Martin Johansson on August 17, 2006

Sasha Cohen's myspace profile for Borat is one of my favorites...

Like him, I use my own profile mainly for self-promotion and meeting teenage girls for pre-arranged marriages...

The Bled's myspace is much better.

 #26 Goodorbad on September 25, 2006

A friend of mine "told me" that when Zach found out that his MySpace page won a Styleboost award, he jumped out of his seat and starting yelling:

"I got StyleBoosted! I got StyleBoosted"

:)

Btw, thanks for this pick and great thread/discussion. It's good to address "the MySpace question", there are alot of us out there that want to learn more about pimping their MySpace pages, in a professional clean manner.

All I say is -- keep 'em coming.

Also, the NUMBER ONE RULE for reskinning your MySpace page is:

DO NOT DELETE OR REMOVE THE TOP AD BANNER!

If you do, you will get banned/deleted -- everything else is fine.

This Guy needs to be careful! :)

 #28 Ozzy Benn on October 8, 2006

This site has some interesting layouts, it looks like most of them are based off of the mikeindustries code.

 #29 Tom Feldhusen on November 14, 2006

mine beats that...

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=74647671

It's got div overlays nd stuff.. ooh fancy Yes, I am well aware its not finished

But zach's is good because of it's content, not it's design. He actually keeps a blog, for a start.
