The World Domination Design Group updates their portfolio once again. This time they've taken a huge leap from the CSS/XHTML design to a retro 50's info-film style. It's very humorous, delicious to behold and amazingly well implemented. I'm impressed by the quality of the video work. In fact it looks so good that I think they're giving a nod to Hollywood, in case anyone there needs a website. Great site!
really amazing. i love the look and feel of this site. the narrator's voice fits so good, i was really blown away. clearly one of my favourites.

Although realy well executed I have my remarks. First I don't think the envionment (the screen and menu) cohere with the content and it's fifties look. But that is not critical. You could be watching old films in the now.
But what I do mind is the poor usability. Although making use of new technology it is a realy outdated type of interaction. It is so linear. As a user I'm not in control of what content I get in what time. I just need to watch a bunch of films. Nicely done but still.
They could have added an extra layer where I am in control. I guess the usability, and with it the experience of the site, suffers from the concept.

good remark, i have to agree. i think it's intention that the user can only consume the information in the given way, but it would be great if the user can gather information as he wants to

I agree with the above... that being said, its a nice site, and it does what it supposed to do, and does it extremely well.

WDDG always puts out quality stuff... This one is a big step away from the last, but I like it
