Ivan Santic, a member of HyperIsland's Crew12, has got himself one of the least blog-looking blogs around. The way he's used Flash, added his portfolio and made use of mouseover images in the right hand column, all makes for an experience that feels far from any WordPress site I've ever visited in the past. In addition to his knack for design, Ivan's got some good 3D skills, obviously.

It's well build, i like the code, and i love simplicity. And it has some cool effects but... doesn't ring a bell. It's too linear and tiring.

This is the first Crew12 portfolio I've seen. Looks good to me. Wish there was an easy way to find the others..

Go to crew12.se/text instead, it's much faster and light-weight than our flash site :)

I think you still can say that this is just 'theming' and i have seen dozens of more detailed WordPress themes out there (and don't forget about really deconstructed ones like http://www.bloxpress.org/demo/ and it would open pandora's box to let them all in here). The code is not at all special, sorry. The implementation of the Slide ShowPro component comes across a little bit lazy (check this out to see a nice flashless Slideshow http://iandeye.de). But... The works are good! And that is what it is all about in a portfolio, right?
