Colors:
Web and graphic design freelancer Grace Smith may very well be the first person from Northern Ireland whose work is featured here on Styleboost. The colors are exquisite and then details are delicious. Clean, sharp and with a lot of personality.
Simple, clean, and with some good code. Very good stylesheet. But the layout is not on the same level. 6/10
Good use of colors.
Nice site but the art is actually the work of Simon Oxley and can be found on iStock.
Dear oh dear...
The site itself won't stop road traffic, but i kinda liked the artwork very much. Too much, because with that hint from kelake i know where i have seen it too. Simon Oxley is a big one over at istockphotos.com and along with lise gagne one of my favs there. I would really like to know what will happen now... and istockphotos is now a part of the almighty getty, hm.
Using stock imagery on a graphic designers site is a big NO!
I find it ridiculous that i am being so abused for using a stock image, i completely fell in love with this image by Simon Oxley and used it as a intro image for my homepage. Excuse me but what have i done wrong here? My website has been featured on styleboost because of its design, colours, code, style and layout, not for a small image on the homepage. I welcome constructive criticisim but completely laying into someone over this is extremely damaging.
There's nothing wrong at all if you're inspired by Simon Oxley's illustration and using one of his work. But I would at least watermark his credit, though. Nice site, otherwise. ;)
I have copyright and info on the image in my stylesheet and have always pointed people to his work when asked the piece. I hope this is the end of this as it has been very upsetting.

Yes, the colors are great. Though it would be nice to see a more interesting layout.
