I wonder if this service can keep its promise of helping to create and deliver fantastic email campaigns. But that doesn't really matter when it comes to being listed here on Styleboost. The online home of Mail & go is a true beauty, featuring the same color-scheme as Batman and the elegance of Robin. It simply shows what Mail & go is all about, and it does it with style. It's even got a shiny logo. What's not to love?
The web2.0 look is very sub-par to me (to the styleboost-par). The reflection is below average, not to say cheap and the radius corners are pixelated like old atari games. Crisp work looks different. Color-scheme is sweet, gradients are ok, rounded fonts are in shape and in line but all in all nothing to remember i think. I do miss some supermarket sticker buttons.
Looks like they're just reselling www.mailbuild.com at a big markup? Check out the UK100 templates here http://www.mailandgo.co.uk/pricing/ and the template pics. Then look at FREE templates here http://mailbuild.com/resources/free-templates.aspx.
Yes Jonathan you're right. There's also the very good Campaign Monitor (by the Mailbuild guys) that offer's better pricing than this.
However, if you prefer to have your OWN hosted email platform (like me!), I would strongly recommended grabing http://sendstudio.com for 3 strong reasons:
1. Great interface and features (all you will really ever need) 2. Pay once (for the software) and send as many emails you like (no per email fees!) 3. You have control/own ALL YOUR DATA! i.e. no third party is storing your valuable email lists. (my fav!)
.
I think the design is just.... something you see in thousands of websites out there. Those colors are really annoying and dead.
5/10
I like it: but I agree that the look is becoming a cliche. The colours are good, the type is OK, the grid is well controlled. The illustrations are reasonably well done (yes, a little clunky in parts).
So will styleboost start getting some non-web 2.0 websites listed? Maybe we all need to submit something a little different so that a new look has time to emerge.

Is it just me or is this site just like any other Web2.0 app marketing site out there? Personally, I'm getting tired of the radius corners and bold top header. It's got the glossy surface reflection too for crying out loud. It's all become too cliché for me.
