North Kingdom just launched a design inspiration blog. It's a clean and simple Scandinavian design aimed at inspiring fellow designers by providing links to great stuff. Via Ars Thanea Blog.
The site is very clean almost too clean making it seem wire-like. At a glance It's really not clear as to what this website does. Do love how they used a border around the entire website. Having "Username" and "ssword" fields that do not automatically erase drives me nuts. Again the design is nice, but the interface is cumbersome, in my opinion.
Did The Designers Republic complain? Now they turned into design rebels.
Turned into Reform and Revolution (a name also used by one of the myriads of Andreas Pihlström's portfolios) 6 days after launch.
Now with some weeks behind i have to admit it is killing. Good stuff, good people on/with it, quality fresh content and rugged good looks. I only would like to have the flash ads 'toned down'. It's kind of a bulky starter - not a quick-loader like styleboost :)

It's a big hope to see a new portal / blog like this while others are shutting down. It looks suprb to me - very Pihlström-esque spiced with WordPress multiblog experiences of NTMY, i guess. Bookmarked instantly!
