Web designer Joshua Lane just recently put together his personal website in a brand new way. The focus is on his online presence elsewhere, but there is also blog posts and other content on the site itself. I think he's done a great and unusual job with this, and accentuated it with nice textures and wonderful typography. Via Zeldman.

I actually disagree. While the layout is nice, the fonts are hard to read (too dark, sans serif, and the human eye has a hard time recognizing capitalized words as easily due to their blocky shape). I would really recommend a serif font for the content text and a bit brighter color of grey for those of us that like to look at websites in daylight.
