One of my all-time favorite portfolios is updated again. Norwegian designer Vegard Bjørlykke just changed his portfolio around a bit, also adding some new work samples. This one has gone from lo-fi to hi-fi.
I want this computer to be an iPC, Dell, Compaq? someone?
dev
Very solid industrial portfolio. I would either add to the graphic design portfolio or remove it, the amount off pieces make it inconsistant compared to the indusrial portfolio
Kick ass.
very nice site! Even better work!!
nice work but the site? its layed out nice i suppose and serves its purpose.
Sweet Plastic! But where are the t-shirts? I want to buy one!
Good colors. Good pictures. But it's lacking something ... something ... maybe sounds?
I don't know...I think Johan likes his stuff....but I can't say I do. The identity is a bit weak. His web stuff is "what's in now". I can say that the computer is quite nice. The 'Train tracking' interface is very clean with good IA principles. I can see great potential in his work, I'd like to see what he's up to in 5 years time. Site needs more ASCII less graphics, ex: CV is a gif.
top notch quality designs, and execution of them...very impressed. Website whiile not cutting edge, is simple and easy enough for me to use and see all his work without a lot of clicking, guessing and effort - which scores high with me. usability very good. his industrial designs are wow- and yeah the computer rocks.
This is a 3mil $ site. Plasticsoda smells me a success!
In my opinion, i dont think he has anything really impressive to show for except his industrial designs (and they are smashing). I think he still has a way to go in his mainstream design-department. It would be more interesting to see more of his corporate work. I'm not to impressed to see personal projects like this, if they dont have anything more substance.
this is site! simple, easy to use, interesting. visitors can cruise and learn. enjoyable. have life of his own. most pixels site are just bored with showing “what they can make form pixels”, like most of flash site are just bored “flash showroom” or simple “circus”. not plasticsoda. thanks
The Site is not bad.He uses his own style that´s important for me. Not much cotent there but as quickly he find a good job or project it will increase. I thing his inspiration for the Industrial Design comes from the late 60´s , 70´s which is one of my favourite "environment - time".So i´m perhaps biased in my comment .Anyway i thing it´s a solid work from Vegrad.
good job....mais je me demande ce que ça fait icic....enfin styleboost quoi
Kickass industrial design! And I like the graphic design too.. pretty clean. He has his own style and sometimes that's bad 'cause people are used to commercial stuff and hate unique things.. and this IS unique.
I'M SURE I'VE SEEN THIS STUFF SOMEWHERE BEFORE!!!!!!
;)
Rockin.... Love that penguin dance...
I think most has been said, but why not leave my comment aswell!?!!? nice style he's got I like the colors white on red looks always good but for me aswell I thought haven seen something like before and also the action (animated stuff or so) would have been nice addon!
Kick azz zite man! Love that rabbit. Where's the t-shirt?
His industrial design work is kick arse, however the graphic design, interactive design leaves a little to be desired. Ah well at least he's great at one out of 3.
hmm...awkward navigation, not a lot of content, very played-out visual style. i hear an echo coming: the good stuff is in the ID portfolio. I don't know, it's hard to objectively review a personal portfolio site, because it's concept and intent can really go anywhere without need for justification. i mean, regardless of how the site works, it's obviously getting noticed.
love the new feel of the site!! put together very basic - tho effective!! Nice one
The logo is quite like: http://quorporation.com/
Thought it's pretty simple, I'm sure there are plenty other just like it.
nice site.
Small redesign today. I have changed the logo back to normal. Rotating it 45 degrees was a bad idea it seem. I was unaware of the similarity with quorporation. It is now fixed! Thanks for all the comments, much appreciated!
