"Give a group of designers one goal. To create art that expresses FREEDOM to them. Whatever they want, as long as it can be displayed on the screen." It's finally time to look at the DFF guys' own addition to the freedom project; a book.

Great initiative, wonderful content, fairly lacklustre and average design.

The site is boring, and the text is unreadable. Nothing new, nothing special. The design, what makes it so nice? My opinion is: its basic and boring and unuserfriendly.

i have to agree. i mean i respect their passion for design but i must admit the site could have been done a lot better. way too much on the home page. it made my ADD flare up big time. i was like “ahh too much stuff!”
but that is just me…

Very average design. Can they get any more content on the home page!? Hard to read as well. Sorry i know its easy to be negative but i’ve seen this kind of stuff a hundred times before and done much better….but on a lighter note the actual design content is of much higher quality.

Designers creating art now that’s a good one.
Is it just me or are these guys really so small-minded that FREEDOM to them means ripping of each other and going around in small circles following the trendsetters?
Nothing new here, only that same old same old. I mean, not bad but if this is what freedom is to you then maybe you should go out more and open your eyes. There’s a colourful world out there.

the stuff done on the project has been done a million times, your just recreating old stuff. i think your wasting time and not making changes in the design world.

some of you may try to be a bit more constructive in your feedback, i think the projects are very cool, all done by artists/designers for the love of the game. the last time i checked freedom is still personal for each individual, and theres freedom in many ways. show a little respect.
