Is there actually any content? Either there isn't, or the script's just not working.

Awesome! I wish I had created this portfolio.

nothing works on IE6 - check the javascript

 #3 Unknown User on October 2, 2002

That's strange. It works fine on my IE6 PC. Are you guys on mac?

 #4 Johan Bakken on October 2, 2002

Doesn't work in IE6. Flash WOULD have been better.

 #5 Unknown User on October 2, 2002

works perfectly fine in my browser. nice that someone still designs without using flash.

 #6 Unknown User on October 2, 2002

nothing works for me either - what gives?

 #7 Unknown User on October 2, 2002

Ok, I do like the site and the style. His portfolio is just ok. I am getting a little tired of the work that comes out of Hyper Island though. IT ALL LOOKS THE SAME. Most of them have the little scanned in background of a piece of cardboard or a torn piece of paper with the content on top. Come guys, a little more creativity.

 #8 Unknown User on October 2, 2002

Yes! It all looks the same, my god, how can the supposedly cool students get so much attention although they ARE NOT CREATIVE? Why? Do they ride a wave of fame of other students? Do they kiss ass and suck up to everybody they meet?

I wonder.

i'm also a bit miffed by the big hyperisland thang. the site also doesn't do bugger all for me. i can't navigate anywhere. i suppose its all about status. if u got a portfolio that don't even work on half of the peeps out there machines but your from hyperisalnd then u get posted as a cool site. if u build your own wicked site (that works) but u aint no-one then u just have to hide in the shadows :)

 #10 Unknown User on October 3, 2002

It's mostly about me liking the style of some of the Hyper Island students. But I agree with those of you who think the hypernauts think too much alike. Still, their still is usually different from most other students' work.

 #11 Johan Bakken on October 3, 2002

IT´S ALL SÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅSSSSSSSS

 #12 Unknown User on October 3, 2002

I'm flatterd that portfolio got here. I don't know how. THNX! This portfolio is an experimental site. Glad U like it. I know that some people got problems with their browser. I have been testing it on different computers and all i can say is. UPGRADE!!!

And to all the people that keeps talking down on HI. Perhaps yall shuld start masturbate to your own shit instead. If U dont like what U see, change the page.

I DONT GIVE A FUCK!! /m

 #13 Unknown User on October 3, 2002

same shit same island

 #14 Unknown User on October 3, 2002

The script works on ie6. I wrote it.. I should know. If it doesn't work on your ie6 on a pc (use mozilla on mac please)..someting is wrong with your install. The navigation is slightly confusing i think..I kept clicking on the round shapes I thought was trainstations..but the links are the text..not the circles. But still nice work from our favorite class-negro :)

 #15 Unknown User on October 3, 2002

"I DON'T GIVE A FUCK!!" That's a great attitude towards criticism Mattias Mattisson. Do they teach you that at Hyper Island too?

 #16 Unknown User on October 3, 2002

um, this site didn't work in Chimera (Mozilla based) or IE 5.2.1 MAC. I don;t care about this hyper island or whatever, I think the site looks great and the ostrich bit is great too. I also like how the information is devided into lines, it makes a lot of sense is clear and clean. I'm mad though. I had to work to try it in all my browsers and wait for the long load time only to have no access to content.

 #17 Unknown User on October 3, 2002

Did'nt work for me. Nice idea. Might have a look again later see if I can get it to work.

 #18 Unknown User on October 3, 2002

why can't i get any of the navi to work - am i doing something wrong? i'd like to see the work

 #19 Unknown User on October 3, 2002

Hm, the script work sometimes .. and sometimes not. Give me one reason to not do this in Flash?

 #20 Unknown User on October 4, 2002

Every thing i every thing. Not flash.... This site had one purpose and one only.... To give me internship! My target group was the people on the companies to were I posted my applications. I posted a cardboard with a print of my portfolio with my address on. It was very effective.... Anyway! "RANDOMSTRUST" is about to take new form. Including stencil-graffity. **Stay tuned**

 #21 Unknown User on October 4, 2002

and "John" All i want to say is ask us what we are doing and what we learn. Instead of using your imagination .

 #22 Unknown User on October 4, 2002

Why does every other damn post have to turn into kindergarden flamewars with people defaming others work? If you dont like it, why answer. If you get criticized in a manor that you find unfair or wrong, same thing, why even bother to answer? And im not just adressing you with this Mattias. You really get your prejudices on how most art directors / web kids are affirmed.. Small boys with fragile egos.

 #23 Unknown User on October 6, 2002

Still, take note: this isn't by far the worst post, but I just wanted to react.

 #24 Unknown User on October 6, 2002

i went several time to biew the work on this site and nothing seems to load for me -- somebody please help!

 #25 Unknown User on October 7, 2002

there was a post about upgrading and some other guy stating that it works b/c he wrote it, yet many people cannot nav this site. there is nothing wrong with my ie6 insall. ms sends us every version/service pack/ etc with our subscription. i respect who did this work and would love that respect in return. i have been programming for years i can handle ie6. if it does not work for some, it does not work all. if your that good then just fix it

 #26 Unknown User on October 9, 2002

I loved the look and feel of this site, I like the organic and human feel that the card board invokes. I also like the navigation. for some reason the images really stand out on the card board. I also like the scribble on the subway schematic. Nice Job.

 #27 Unknown User on October 28, 2002

I like this shit. But i thought I navigate by clicking on the circles and not on the text. But how hard can it be to figure that out? Hmm.

And why does everybody complain on each other? If you don´t like Hyper Island students work, why even bother to comment their sites?

Of course we influence each other when we hang out every day at school and work together. Can´t see something wrong with that.

Just wanted to say nice work Mattias.
