Fuckin´ great portfolio!

Is it possible for one man to do all that stuff?

 #1 Unknown User on December 3, 2002

heavenly.

 #2 Unknown User on December 3, 2002

Fucking awesome... Almost a little bit to much material.

 #3 Unknown User on December 3, 2002

This is the best portfolio I have ever seen!! You are simply the best Rob!

 #4 Unknown User on December 3, 2002

great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its wonderfull

 #5 Unknown User on December 3, 2002

 #6 Unknown User on December 3, 2002

"This page has exceeded its bandwidht allowance. Please try later. "

...looks like i'll have to wait until january then :(

 #7 Unknown User on December 3, 2002

Kick ass portfolio!!! The work made by Robert Lindström is close to perfection.

 #8 Unknown User on December 3, 2002

Hmm, limited bandwith really sucks. I'll try again later. In a couple of hours or so it says it'll be back..

 #9 Unknown User on December 3, 2002

JESUS CHRIST! THIS IS TOTAL MADNESS! IT'S GREEAATT!!!

 #10 Unknown User on December 3, 2002

I can't wait to see it!!!!! damn bandwith issues!

 #11 Unknown User on December 3, 2002

well shit. im impressed!

 #12 Unknown User on December 3, 2002

one of the most terrific portfolios i have ever seen. awsome logo too!!!

 #13 Unknown User on December 3, 2002

What to say? What to say? This is it. One of those sites that just gets you to shut up and simply just pushes you back in the chair and keeps you there until you've looked through the whole damn thing. Obviously my desktop-picture is altered now. It also let's you know just what a crap designer you are yourself (well, at least me), but that's ok, cuz this really is IT. It's all YUM!

 #14 Unknown User on December 3, 2002

Looks great. Looks really great. The problem that I have with it is that it looks just like every other designers' site. Everybody seems to have hooked their claws into the same style, so much that I can scarcely tell the difference between any of them, leaving me both disappointed and unemployed because I'd rather do something a little unusual. Sorry for the rant, I'm just a little bothered by the lack of ingenuity out there.

 #15 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

Very Stylish and Cool Job

 #16 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

i usually don't comment... but wow. just wow. so nice

 #17 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

how wonderful that everyone can view the site, despite the fact that already since yesterday afternoon the site is down due to exceeding bandwidth limits.

still, keep on posting people }:-/

looking forward to seeing it.

 #18 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

I sometimes post a comment regarding some of the good looking sites I find here. And this site must be one of the best. It's not very fast, but I just don't care. This is too good to miss.

 #19 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

this is one of the best pieces I ever see...

mod1c from rootylicious.studios

 #20 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

I agree with Brandon. And what's up with everyone using these eagle sort of icons? They're everywhere!

But of course the work is truly fantastic. This is truly truly a DIK/k10k/styleboost/hyperisland art school fop's perfect wet dream.

 #21 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

Eagles are way overused these days, the third reich designers did all that in the 30-40s. The site looks good, but I really think some of the clientwork done by him is much better than his own site (ex the vovlo site).

 #22 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

This guy is a serious player. I was involved with the Vodafone project at an early concept development stage, and we dident get half the things done that we wanted, but it worked beautifully in the end, thanks to WK and the team. I think his commercial work is the best thing here. I'm not too keen on the 1995 Attik style mini-text textures anymore, its destroys the functional aspect of the site, and starts to confuse. great site though, thanks SB

 #23 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

it might be a good site if it ever worked!

 #24 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

well that does it - i'm officially quiting

 #25 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

....this is holy ground.....one man show.....I can't describe my emotional feelings about this...this guy really rocks the shit of many goodvibe designers out there....his INCREDIBLE portfolio section shows what really really goodlooking design is about, I gently bow, may the work flow!

 #26 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

Web page is down!!!!!! i really want to see what all this hype is about!!!!!

 #27 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

What do you know, went back 10 mins l8er and its up, i'll be back soon with my verdict.

 #28 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

Holy Shit! It was worth waiting for, this is one amazing portfolio, could of spent all night looking at his work, every piece of work was top quality even starting back in the mid 90's!! and he was on a soccer scolarship? fuk knows think he must of been born with the gift of design! very well organised portfolio, think i'll go back take another browse for a few hours.

not sure if the servers palying up though, as a lot of work is not loading!

 #29 Unknown User on December 4, 2002

Someone complained about Rob using a lot of the "trend" elements on his site. Like the eagle logo or the small info texts etc etc. It doesn't matter at all you see. Rob is a leader and not a follower. HE is one of those who set the trends that others follow. Living in sweden I constantly run into his work on the web. Thinking: Who did this? Only to find out time after time that Rob did it again. Respect!

 #30 Unknown User on December 5, 2002

Wow, let the over hype flow. Very good design, but face it- far from groundbreaking stuff.

 #31 Unknown User on December 5, 2002

I've been following Robert Lindströms carrier with interest. I guess I expected more from him. But why? The company, Paregos, which he works for has been an obvious inspiration for artist around the world. And in some cases, I would say that Robert Lindström is Paregos, in terms of web design. Sites like "Totalforsvaret" & "Mosquito" are a fine example of that. [next post]

 #32 Unknown User on December 6, 2002

So what's my point? I would say that Mr. Lindström is a source for the mainstream design you see today - he's been developing it since '95 :)

 #33 Unknown User on December 6, 2002

I just can't believe some people. This is perhaps the best site I've seen in ages, his work is fantastic, really inspires me to go out and do more, and all people can do is criticise. Jeeessus!!

 #34 Unknown User on December 6, 2002

actually, i don't like Flash site... bit this one !!!!!!!! INCREDIBLE

 #35 Unknown User on December 8, 2002

Although you may consider this guys work mainstream, it is a much higher standard than the vector traced images you see all over flyers and the high street. This is more craft than trend.

 #36 Unknown User on December 8, 2002

Are you guys serious. Why cant you appreciate good work when you see it. Id love to see some work from those who criticise. TOP STUFF, it's nice to see a CONSISTANTLY high quality portfolio. The nike work kicked arse. Love it.

 #37 Unknown User on December 9, 2002

??? These are vector traced images ffs, there is no skill in posterizing in photoshop and using flash to auto- trace a bitmap.

 #38 Unknown User on December 9, 2002

Its good work, respect. Let the graphicflow go.

 #39 Unknown User on December 9, 2002

FKN SIK SITE!!!!!RESPECT!!!I LOVE THE LOGO ESPECIALLY.SIK

 #40 Unknown User on December 9, 2002

First I have to say it is great to read all the respons =D Thanx a lot! I just have to make a comment to "jtz". The illustrations are not made with any kind of autotrace whatsoever. I have drawn the paths on top of my photos in Photoshop, then I exported them as .ai to Freehand, copy and past into Flash and there I colored everything. It took a while but when you have started you can't stop ;) You won't get this result with autotrace, sorry.

 #41 Unknown User on December 9, 2002

Sick skills...Best portfolio site I have seen in years! Those traces with autotrace? yeah, right! Try it! It takes forever to get a result this good... Total respect...:)

 #42 Unknown User on December 10, 2002

__\\++ _stop going to +church+ now and start worshipping designchapel_ ++//__

 #43 Unknown User on December 10, 2002

please design chapel, throw some holy water my way! great site!! it's pure sin!

 #44 Unknown User on December 10, 2002

Just to emphasize what Rob just said, "jtz" should try his method and see what results he gets. Then he'll appreciate the skill involved.

 #45 Unknown User on December 10, 2002

"??? These are vector traced images ffs, there is no skill in posterizing in photoshop and using flash to auto- trace a bitmap. jtz"

hey buddy. have you ever (EVER?) used auto tracing? these are not the results you get with autotracing...

 #46 Unknown User on December 10, 2002

There were a few usability concerns, but hey, this is one of the sexiest sites I have ever seen. Astonishing vector work, you could never acheive this with autotrace as one comment mentioned. Kudos to you on an inspiring piece of art!

 #47 Unknown User on December 12, 2002

I've used autotrace loads of times, any monkey can trace a photo anyway. What are you all on about. Try superlooper.de if you love this stuff.

 #48 Unknown User on December 12, 2002

the vector graphics on this superlooper.de are not even close to being as nice and smooth as these.

 #49 Unknown User on December 12, 2002

too much purple in that site. I can't take it. It hurts my eyes.

 #50 Unknown User on December 12, 2002

No doubt Design Chapel is well designed and stylish. Who cares about the technique the site was made of. The Point is if someone knew how to make it, he never can put this site togther as Rob has done."Respect" That is a piece of his mind putting on Html. I like it very very much the colours the navigation the feeling the Site has.And of course the Vectors are beautiful. He put alot of Work on it.That´s for sure. Anyway that´s my opinion.

 #51 Unknown User on December 13, 2002

good grief, will somebody give JTZ a joint - quickly

 #52 Unknown User on December 13, 2002

wheres the purple? wheres the crappy design? huh? I dont see it anywhere in site. looks fine to me. but then again, im just a beginner so i wouldnt know. if this is what bad design looks like, and its pleasing to my eyes, i guess everythings going reverse?

 #53 Unknown User on December 22, 2002

Fantastic Rob!

 #54 Unknown User on January 22, 2003

UAAAAAAAAAU!!!

 #55 Unknown User on March 21, 2003

Repect for such an inspiring work. I can call it art in it own way, and there is nothing without flaws... This work lets you live it, interact with it and ask for more of it.. and that what makes it succesful. +++++ for sweden as it is showing great muscles in new media design. Sam Zein - Lebanon

 #56 Unknown User on July 3, 2003

very attractive, and cool illustration! exceptional taste!!

 #57 Unknown User on September 18, 2003

nah , he worked with 3 or four other guys, on these projects, i dig his work anyway,

 #58 Unknown User on November 12, 2003

great design, awesome illustrations...this is coming from a non-designer but still...it rocks!!!

 #59 Unknown User on December 21, 2003

Lovely use of Vector graphics. Challenges the notion of form before function.

 #60 Unknown User on August 2, 2004

Very fine graphics and illustrations! Nice use of color.

 #61 JK Orvik on May 10, 2005

Great illustration, great over all work.

 #62 Christian Andersson on August 9, 2006

Wow, Robert's portfolio gets better and better...

I'm looking forward to the next version.
