This is one of the most beautiful portfolios I've ever had the honor of experiencing. Chris Gillespie has created a perfect visual playground, although there should be more of his stuff to look at here. I'm sure a few of you will hate the popups, though.
way different! i love the color scheme, it had i different tone to it than most portolios.

a fresh idea would be nice, the every dull scrolling nav, preceded by the all ways anoying, fullscreen popup, continued with yet more popups.
it is pritty, it is smooth, but for an interaction designer, there is little.

I think there are far more better way to show off your work than using popups. The whole flashmovie seems almost useless when there's a popup where all the information could have been. Wouldn't it be better to include the workpresentation in the slow slidernavigated flashmovie.
The portfolio section loaded really slow on my computer.

The popup window is frustratingly too small so I couldn't get a clear view of his work. What is the purpose of the popup? Other than that the opening graphics look nice.

i don't mind popups but fullscreen is really annoying for people with dialup... it makes simultaneous surfing all the more difficult. that's the reason why i didnt see much of the portfolio. i like the navigation, though i feel that it is copied from http://www.sky-scape.biz ... the latter has never been linked up in styleboost
