Keep it simple.
Too simple....and you enter how? Or is that all it takes.......
Purely awesome.
Love and respect from Canada
Uh, where is the site? I mean, the flying geese are nicely done... but that's all????
love it!
Yes or no...minimalistic is Ok, but some info is required, isn't it? Then again pretty cool...
i like it, although i think only big name brands or agencies can get away with something like that.
um...where is the site????????
i emailed him he said it was about him... "girl left, winter is coming." interesting, i like it, but i want more
Congratulations! Another total triumph of style over content!
sure the geese are done well and everything but that is IT - do you not think that there are sites out there with actual content that deserve exposing b4 this one - this is just an email link!
every click's an email link. nice birds but this styleboost listing is a bit of a smack in the face for all those who never got listed here. what next, an animated gif gets listed?! ;P
I dont really understand why this site is here at all . . A duck cut out of a movie and duplicated it and added blure, how hard can it be? To me this is just a splashscreen, and I really dont like e-mail links with no that acts like something else . .
We does it need to be hard to do? I've seen many issues of this site and it always delivers nice designs and statements. I guess he wants to say something with this aswell. Anyway, simple or hard, I think it's beautiful.
sounds more like seagulls than a geese
Keep it simple (and no content please)
"keep it simple, stupid" thats a good quote from somewhere in the spent2000 site that fits this site exellent. I think this is lovely
You people seem awfully narrow-minded. Or... young? In my opinion this is a concept, a statement, something that is supposed to convey a feeling. It is not just a "website". It's something much more intelligent.
2The geese are nicely done" is really beside the point. Technical execution in this case is merely a vehicle. As it always should be. A site with lot's of relevant content and a nice design is a good thing - but not the only thing.
if this is a concept, a statement, one can only conclude that the execution of the so called concept is poor... since no one seems to 'get' this hidden, deeper message...
and don't say that it is art and that it is only for yourself... if so, then don't publish it :)
so, anyone up for a game of DUCKHUNT!!! hooo-haaa! :)
The birds are nicely done, but that's all ? No content !?!? This shouldn't be on styleboost, there are a lot of great websites that don't get listed on styleboost because of sites like these. :(
You may understand it if you can feel it. I love it.
personally, it is very sleek and eye appealing for sure. Adding poo-poo droppings after a few seconds, would be a nice touch though. Since they do have to poop some time, eh! On a more serious note, I hope to see more in the near future, as I do not know what the site is all about, besides "messages" and the sort. HOPE TO SEE MORE! CIAO!
Hi all,
Precinct Design Legion is a ripp off http://frank.borsato.free.fr/bc/main.htm. Those pictures are probably extracted from a movie called "le peuple migrateur" . I know the webdesigner (Franck Borsato) who did the website of the movie's sound designer. >

Franck did this website 2 years ago !
you can buy the bird movie at gettyimages
The site has changed since you posted it. Just FYI.
No offence but in my eyes Styleboost is basically a links website, having a site linked here does not automatically put a site into the annuals of historically great design. My point is that some people seem to be grossly over-upset by this link, if your goal in design is to get a link here or at any other of the other nice link sites then in my opinion you need to really reevaluate your thinking. And who is to say that a website cannot be art?
After seeing that other French guy's site I am almost certain I would consider this a rip. They barely did any work.
daniel raised the bar for design on the web 5 or 6 years ago - he's one of the originals, im glad to see some new stuff up at precinct. real nice.
