The people behind PlayMusicMagazine recently added two new magazines to their catalog, all of which are available through MagWerk. The new mags focus on different topics, namely gaming and design, but stick to the same framework.
I can't see the site :(
Loving this !!! The 'Welcome..' intro is a tad cheesy but the content inside more than makes up for it... Looking forward to the next addition...
All entrance links are Forbidden with Camino Mac. Works with FireFox and IEX Mac.
this is all i see when i click enter
"Forbidden You don't have permission to access /1/ on this server."
very awesome...i like how even the advertisements are interactive. the pop-up music player also comes in handy..."oh! this band looks like they would be groovy...i'll just listen to them now while i finish the article!'
Already commented this on Storedyret, but its a really nice mag! :) i enjoyed it. just a few things that could have been better.
well, there is not much layout is it? this could have been done much more exciting... looks like a first-year student work... not impressed... sorry
Very, very stylish mag, for all people interested in design, music and fashion. I like it. Imarked it. Beautiful.
amazing, this magazine is surely one of the best / most content filled sources of reading i've ever found on the web. i'd pay for this.
thankyou
Beautiful piece of work, and content too! Excellent.
Tina! I would really like to see some of your work if this is "first-year student" as you put it...
I loved everything about this site except the book format. It has been used too many times already. Apart from that everything is super smooth, lovely colors and photos. .
thumbs up!
I like it too! The book format fits, content is crisp. just one suggestion, maybe a preload-next-page option would be nice.
Nice pictures, but I guess those are just press pictures. Nice detail-animation on the front picture, but the rest of the site is kinda tacky. The layout, typo, pageturner/flip, audiocontroller dosent look good at all. On the splashpage, why do you have to press "where you want to read" and then "Enter"? The site should open when you press "Office/Park/Beach". Sorry Johan, I think this needs more work. btw, the site dosent work anymore...
i Like! a preloaders are all it lacks.
There seems to be a lack of interaction like links to other sites... Several things warrant links to other sites but didnt have them
Well alot of this could've been achieved without flash.. most pages are fairly static. Choices in the beginning that should be what you see, i mean i have to press two things to enter, also had to take notice and look before i could figure out what was the purpose. They same with the turn page thing of the magazine. You could have said to turn the page click here...
Have you tried to read the texts? Besides the lack of good typography I would recommend a larger font size, at least 12 pixels or I don´t get to tired to read. More space between the lines and more space between the text blocks and the margins. I liked the grass background. It gave me a nice feeling. But some kind of navigation bar would be nice.
I think this site is great. I agree with the others regarding the choice-of-setting option though - it should be a bit simpler.
By the way, you have a lot of whiny critics on this site, huh? I mean, complaints about the font size (I run at 1920x1200 and could read it fine) and the use of flash (who doesn't use flash these days, regardless of how much they plan on littering their work with sparkly animations) seem rediculous.
I really like new original ideas on the net, but if I would have taken this project futher. The magazine is to much like an ordinary magazine are not taking the advantages that Internett has to offer. Its just too static, and I lack the possibility for user interaction. The articles an photos are beautiful, and I look forward to see some great, mindblowing ideas in the next issue.
Not too thrilled about the two new magazines to be honest.. still just sticking to PMM ;)
Yeah Baby! Looks and feels really good. Must say that i liked the game mag Probe*. Very clever to have games inside this "design-frame". Feels very wierd, in a good way. :)
Keep it coming! MORE GAMES!
