The fabulous group94 have put together Marge Casey & Associates' simple, yet effective website. It showcases the work of a collective of highly skilled photographers. I especially like the various menus that simplify the navigation.
The photos of Augustus Butera and Lyndon Wade was great! "A year in room 107"

I found the photographs beautiful and exquisite but I found the layout and and style of design wrong it felt to like a bad scimatic and all that bold type why?

The design of this site is sooo boring ...
This is here because G94 made it, they good reputation "made" this beautiful, they have some really good work, but this is not better than the average.
Although the pictures are beautiful.

I'm a print designer and I really like the simplicity of the site to complement the great works of photography. It gives emphasis on the site content instead of bashing people's heads to gain attention to the site design itself.
Moving, flashy, colorful flash sites does NOT always equal a good design solution. Sometimes "boring" design is GOOD design.

The design itself from a formal point of view might not be that over the top - but the structure and the concept definitely is! it brings together so many different photographers in such a smooth and smart way that its a pleasure to browse them. not to mention that what group 94 is mainly about is not surface, rather than smart concepts and dynamic flash content. if that is "not better than the average", i will never visit Styleboost again :)

Its a photograph site.. its not supposed to be all wow! its supposed to me simple and minimalistic, thats what photograph sites are.. its all about the photos, witch are grrrrrrrreat! ;)
