Here's the ultratight showcase of one of New York's finest new media design agencies. Of course the sites on display here are all great. What's more is the fact that the navigation gives you so much information with so little effort. Stunning!
You can tell James W and Jens started working there. It used to be the same old boring movie sites over and over but the quality of the last 1-3 sites is way higher.
The "kill bill" section doesnt work .....
WOW!! these guys create the most stunning never-seen-before flash animations and transitions. The Crudge site is full of tiny jewels. One thing thought, I think their own site is too corporate. It's not really representing their skills, eventhough I agree on the easy navigation and gaining information with each project.
How can you NOT like these guys? Check out the sites they've made! This is some of the most amazingly nice, professional and advanced flash-sites I've ever seen. How the hell can they end up with only three on the ratings? Thats lunacy.... or perhaps just jealousy.
I say, you guys rock!
I'm not saying they don't have the skills or whatever, but how freaking hard can it be designing websites for movies? It'd be interesting to see what Bigspaceship would do with corporate clients. Nothing special I'm sure. Just like the rest of 90% failed web agencies, I'm sure Bigspaceship has done those "regular" jobs, but they've probably been so worthless they don't even want to showcase them. Good thing there is an agency for this crap.
"how freaking hard can it be designing websites for movies? " you obviously dont know.
this is some good shit, im tellin' ya...
Petter. A picture of Halle Berry on a background + actionscript and you have yourself a site. You're so screwed by commercial marketing that you don't even know it. A famous or big actor/actress/artist makes you automatically believe that the sites are awesome and created by gods, i mean, they make hollywood production sites so they have to be. So, NO, I don't know. Don't want to either. Grudge is nice though. James W and Jens K prob behind it.
There seems to be no conceptualization. Besides the movie's concept/story. But does that really count? No challenges, no nothing. Appears to be "freaky and cool" hip new media design. Just trends, trends and more trends. a site should help businesses become more profitable or more attractive and thus make consumers inquire more about it. If those movies didn't have websites it would still make millions $ and boost revenue. So, it's also needless.
Really? Well I know for a fact that the Swedes haven't done anything that has gone live for them. The most recent work has been done by the same team that has been doing the work for the past year, two years.
i have made movie sites before formsoldier, and i dont know what you are talking about. whats your problem with spaceship and movie sites anyways. they are a quality company, making some of the best movie sites out there. you are very angry my friend. i would like to see your portfolio site (if you have one) to see if you can back up what you are saying.
