I'm sure all of you saw this one last week. After all, it's not very often that a browser manufacturer like Google teams up with a hot band like Arcade Fire and a star director like Chris Milk to create something as beautiful as this. This is truly cutting edge.

Happy Cog have been hard at work on the new Visit Philly site recently. Compared with the previous version, this site is the best in the entire universe - in all aspects. I haven't really been able to test this site in a real world scenario, as I haven't visited Philadelphia in 14 years. However, I think they've made some interesting choices in the content shown in the dropdown menus and the content, such as the itineraries.

Huh? Two Flash sites in a row. I must be crazy. Wrangler's latest campaign offering features some truly mesmerizing elements. Each photo is in fact an interactive video that may be played forward or backward. What's amazing about this is the fact that you pull on the clothes, and how this makes you feel. It just works perfectly. Via @inahill. (The downside with Flash sites like this one is, as always, the awful, constant 100% CPU usage.)

I'm selling colors, the tagline for Adhemas Batista's portfolio site is very fitting. His work makes powerful use of bold colors often combined with abstract or almost psychedelic shapes and imagery. I've been so lucky to have had the joy of relying on his services a few years ago, and can attest to his mad skills. His portfolio was last showcased here on Styleboost in 2006, but was recently redesigned.

I love the approach IGN has taken to the task of convincing advertisers. This is a great example of how to do something bold, different, beautiful and (I assume) successful. Brilliant. Via Drawar.

Philips went overboard when they created this campaign site for their latest 21:9 aspect ratio TV. I think the idea of making an original short film to show off the 21:9 aspect ratio is wonderful. The execution is even better. World class!

Discover the new Lacoste Collection by Christophe Lemaire. Fashion, sneakers, super slim fits, colorful styles, 60's inspired, etc. There's funky music and a lot of slow motion video to be had. As a campaign site for clothes, this site works really well. Cool stuff. Still, those kids don't seem like people I would enjoy hanging out with.

A site in Norwegian only for promoting Troms to Norwegians. Gjermund at Divensis has done a great job with colors and the use of photography to really show off the beauty of the region. Exhiliarating and at times breathtaking.
