This small single page website was designed by @jackdecaluwe, a Belgian designer based in Sydney, Australia. I love the visual style, which is in large part shaped by the illustrative style and the strict use of a single purple color. Simply a very nice little site.

This beer website is outstanding for a couple of reasons. First of all it's exceptionally beautiful thanks to all the awesome illustrations. Secondly, it's got a very neat way of navigating/sorting/browsing the various contents. This is an interesting concept that made me spend more time on the site than I normally would.

Image Mechanics is a two person mobile app development studio based in Sydney, Australia. They have done some unusual tricks with the website interface that I think are there to convince potential clients that they are truly intent on producing great mobile app experiences. I really like how they show off their process through the use of in-action photos.

Here's an impressive display of Flash skills. An interactive 3D site for an Australian creative firm. I think this is top notch for showing off what kind of work they love to do, but I had a hard time figuring out what kind of firm this really was. Make sure to check out the "people" section. It's a fun and nauseating interface, but lacks a bit in information design. All in all, this site is a great example of how to do something very differently, and they've picked the right tool for the job.

Adelaide South Australia based IT support specialists in Mac and Windows small business server. Their website isn't designed as a fantastic new layout or a completely unique idea. Instead, it's a direct approach with tabs, icons, etc. Instead of reinventing the weel, the designers have focussed their skills on the details. This one is done with great love and it shows. Very straight forward and very well done. Via Web Creme.
