Base One is a complete communications agency located in London. What strikes me about their website design is the way it is separated. Three areas of operations, three distinct colors. Very nice.

9 rules member Neil Patel write about anything related to online marketing, search engine optimization, and buzz marketing. I've found some good reads on there, and I'm sure to check out some more as soon as I have time. What strikes me most about his site, though, is how unbelievable pretty it is. The graphical details, the layout and the colors are just perfect.

Veerle's blog 2.0 is exactly that; it's a blog and it's Web 2.0. Correct if I'm mistaken, but Veerle is probably Belgium's greatest talent in the web design community these days. For those of you who are wondering why I'm posting this on Styleboost™ now, I can only say that I'm trying to fill a few gaps in the database. This is one of them. I'm posting it becuase it's such a beautiful and detailed site. The colors, the illustrations, the icons, the code.

Although Tick is still in beta, I've had a chance to try this new web app out for a short while. What first struck me with this site is how beautiful it is. Highly inspired by 37 signals' trademark design style, Tick takes this to another level with an increased attention to details. The second thing that struck me with Tick is that the service they're providing is just what I'm looking for.

Basically listed on Styleboost™ for its strong colors combined with dark greys and blacks. I may be biased, having design Styleboost™ with shades of dark grey. In addition to having making use of a strong color palette, ColourMod is a great tool as well.

With the introduction of PSP firmware 2.5, the PSP becomes LocationFree® compatible. As I own a PSP, I obviously had to check out the Owner's Lounge which, in fact, doesn't suck. It's not even half bad. Resembling the Macromedia site, but distinct enough to be worth a closer look.

A very nice blend of colors, typography and presentation. The goal of Passvite seems not so far from my own goal with Styleboost™, and perhaps this presentation is the way to go with Styleboost™ in the future.

First linked here on Styleboost™ a couple of years ago (which is a long time in Styleboost's history), the AWD site is now back in a redesigned version. The first impression I got from visiting the site was very positive. The colors, navigation, sounds, etc all work towards making it a pleasure to experience.

The Mill is one of the world's most exciting visual effects companies with many memorable productions in their portfolio. Their long-awaited website features some nice features such as a highly distinct look and a very easy system of navigation. Flash used good.

The site itself is mediocre. It serves its purpose, but that's about it. This one is all about the superdelicious and nasty "vaselined" photographs and music videos of David LaChapelle. He's an icon of our time.
