Here's a designer clothing site from Serbia with some nice details in the navigation. Notice the way the items in the navigation become active as the images progressively are preloaded one after another. I'm not 100% in love with all the choices made in the design, but it looks stunning and has a slick implementation of various levels of navigation. Kudos to Nikola Arezina for pulling it off with such class.

Among the first batch of premium Tumblr themes which were just launched, I found this gem. Simplefolio is a slick theme that easily lets you host your portfolio on Tumblr. Sweet concept and gorgeous design by MetaLab.

Lift's website is one of the most detailed and graphics-intensive single page portfolio sites I've come across. I love the attention they paid to the most minute details, truly gorgeous. And the work displayed is good stuff all across the board. Basically, this site oozes of quality.

Carbonmade has just received an amazing makeover. The pages have basically changed into a bunch of super beautiful illustrated posters. And for some reason they've managed to do this while at the same time making the site extremely responsive. And who doesn't want to sign up for a service where the login button says "Moustache!"?

What's this? A website about beer that is actually fun to visit. Gone are all the preloaders, intro videos, background music, club kids and other aberrations that usually represent the field of alcoholic beverage websites. To say that this is a breath of fresh air in this respect is an understatement.

Knowing where to eat is only half the battle, the important half is what to order. Dishizzle aims to provide information, photos, reviews, and ratings about the dishes on the menu. After using the site quite briefly that a) it's a very well designed site of its kind, and b) it does the job with ease. Not exactly cutting edge, but still very nice and user friendly.

Rogie King's Komodo Media site is not exactly brand new. That has never stopped me from posting a great site here on Styleboost in the past. And Rogie's very pixel anal site is looking better than ever. In fact it has recently got an amazing "foliage-o-meter" in the right column which dazzles. Definitely a feature to check out and be inspired by. Via @dburka.

Basically, this site is outstanding because of the choice of technology. I would not have posted this site here on Styleboost had it been made with Flash. That is not to say it's a bad or boring design. It's not. I like it a lot. But it's also a design that is made in the spirit of a lot of traditional portfolio sites made with Flash, if you catch my drift. And I'm sure a lot of webdesigners will be interested in seeing how this has been implemented using CSS, HTML and JavaScript. Kudos to Appear.

The oven fresh promo site of the latest graduating class of Hyper Island's interactive art director students is high on concept. Despite the intro video that I find a little bit too far up in the clouds, I think it's a wonderful site. It looks great, feels great and is [probably] a great catalyst for making students focus on what's happening online. Cloudania seems like a great nation with wonderful and very talented citizens.

Robbin and Waldemar are just about to complete the concept-driven Interactive Art Direction course at Hyper Island, and they're looking for an internship. As you can see from the work showcased in their cute, hand-drawn portfolio, they sure have the skills. Impressive, clean and still has a lot of personality.
