In the words of Robert Scoble: "The new @foursquare home page is crack!" Personally I find the new site top notch and very fast, and don't forget the awesomeness of the super clean homepage when logged out. I'm guessing it has the highest conversion rate of any teaser page for an iPhone app ever. Great work by @sambrown and the Foursquare team. Via @danielmall.

The redesigned online presence of Teehan+Lax here is such a great site in so many ways. For one, even the cutting edge use of the html5 video tag as a background element is elegantly responsive. The site is simple throughout, but this is definitely not "boring" or "cheap" simple. It is a top notch site clearly among the most wonderful of its kind anywhere on the web. Jaw-dropping. Via @mdo.

Twitter UI designer Mark Otto recently released an add-on pack for LESS that is sure to simplify the development process for a lot of Styleboost's readers. That in itself, however useful, does not make this worthy of posting here. But Mark designed an irresistible site to accompany the software, so now I'm left with no choice but to post it here. You should also follow @mdo on Twitter.

Ben the Bodyguard is basically a teaser website for getting people to sign up to be notified when a new iPhone app is launched. But it's such wonderfully executed. In fact, I've never seen anything quite like this. A big win for HTML5 storytelling. Via Robbin Ingvarsson.
