This one does need any explanation really. The only question is why I didn't post it before. The site is filled with beautiful little details like illustrations, rollover effects and so on. Needless to say, the site really makes me want to attend the festival.

Needless to say, ultra hot Paravel has done it again. Lake Wapogasset is actually a family of four camps with the same spiritual mission. I think @trentwalton, @davatron5000 and @raygunray have done a very impressive job of joining these camps together without taking away their individuality. What's more, since I'm an atheist, I've set the bar extra high for religious websites to be posted here. No, not really. That was supposed to be a joke. Lake Wapogasset is a very beautiful site. Paravel has also written a post about the process.

The employees of Norwegian studio Klipp og lim love attending festivals of all kinds. That's why they have created this minisite, which is basically a targeted offer to festivals in need of beautiful design on a very low budget. A great idea that is perfectly executed as a single page. Unfortunately, this site is in Norwegian only.

Sommerfesten, a small Norwegian festival with a small but wonderful site (Norwegian only, I'm afraid). We Make seem to be churning out some of Norway's finest little websites one after another these days.

This Norwegian site for a small jazz festival taking place in Ålesund later this year is a powerful example of an outstanding single page design. I love the job We Make has done with this. And I love the fact that a site like this doesn't need to have a huge hierarchy of pages.

A great Norwegian gem as far as branding, illustration, design and colors go. I have no idea why this one was still not listed on Styleboost.

FETA is an international open air theatre festival that was arranged in Gdansk, Poland for the 9th time this summer. The Flash gurus over at Poland's own Cookie have done an impressive job once again with the Festival's online presence. Outstanding work.
