FLAKE.tv is an online television channel dedicated to broadcasting original programming about urban lifestyle, art, fashion, music and overall creative culture. Quite simply a small site with a delicate touch that can satisfy some of the creative craving you've got.

The official site for the HBO Voyeur mini series is outstandingly creative. To the MAX! That's what I said to myself while taking a first look at this spiffy site. Lots of bells and whistles, and it works very well. Quite the masterpiece, if you're into all-encompassing, massive Flash sites.

Grooveshark is a music-sharing community in which users listen to music for free online, download music, and earn free songs for sharing. The site interface for this app is lovely. This is the kind of site I would love to be able to say that I had designed myself. The graphics are so sharp, and the information so well laid out. Make sure to take a look at Grooveshark lite.

Here's a one-of-a-kind single page portfolio. It's all laid out as one expanding horisontal list of works on display. The navigation works really well and the images are of a high enough quality to make us really drool over his designs. I'm missing permalinks to each project, though. And I would love to be able to right click the images and save them in my "graphical inspiration" folder.

Julian Velard is a singer songwriter who's made a very wise choice. I'm saying this because he's hired Wefail to make some madness and call it his website. They've made use of their trademark style of animation and made this site a fun way to listen to Julian's music. And I must say that I'm sold. Some of the songs are really good. And the site let me have a good time while listening to the music, too.

Marcus Eriksson is back with another redesign of Subdisc. It came out a couple of months ago and managed to slip past my radar. This time it's all about crystal sharp photography in a smooth flash portfolio. This is crisp and excellent stuff once again from Marcus.

Discover the future of tennis through Lacoste's futuristic celebration of its 75th anniversary. This is flawlessly done and should saturate most of you Flash junkies out there. I really like the designs reminiscent of Chris Cunningham's work or the movie I, Robot. There are some great wallpapers to be had, too.

Despite being an extremely heavy load for a site of its kind, and being a webshop made in Flash, I'm loving certain aspects of this site. First of all, it's unusual navigation just works. I immediately understood how to find a garment and take a closer look at it. The close-ups work great, with the alpha transparency and all. Too bad it's such a heavy load and that it isn't done with jQuery. Flash feels much slower and less responsive. Despite my Flash-bashing, however, this is a great and outstanding webshop. Site by Syrup. Via Computerlove™.

Sticking with the minimalist agenda of the previous version, Sam's latest portfolio redesign is one of the cleanest and most understated I've seen. Very clean and very white, reminiscent of something out of THX 1138. It's elegant, very effective and brands the designer clearly.

Volll is a small European atelier for design and development based in Budapest, Hungary. The scrolling of this site is a good example of how to make it fun to find your way around a portfolio. I love the nice touch with the animated details on mouseclick. Cute, friendly and fun.
