This Swedish designer portfolio is 2 cool 4 school for two reasons; 1) the design work is great, 2) the way the work is presented is highly unusual - and still works well. My main problem with the site is the lack of saturation and contrast in the photos.
If you don't know who Folkert Gorter is, you've been asleep since the 1900s. Folkert has not only been one of the most important personalities of the online designer communities, he is also a superskilled designer. Make sure to view all his logowork.
Kill Death. Although m-o-n-a-m-o-u-r is a very simple site, the collection of design samples is quite complex. Pay attention to the fact that there's no crap here. This one isn't wasting anyone's time. Beautiful and unusual, a classic.
Nineaem updates the sparkling photo gallery featuring work by French artist Pep. Some of these photos are among the most inspiring stuff I've seen to date. The use of colors is so unusual that this one deserves quite a few stars.
Luxembourg based Thomas Brodahl's (of surfstation) personal portfolio site is fresh. After running the site for almost a year, Thomas just added a fashion section with some of his T-shirt designs. Very nice site.
