DeviantART is not only a great resource of icons, wallpapers and other great and not so great examples of digital art. The site was just revamped with a much lighter visual footprint. I haven't had a chance to try out the new navigation thoroughly yet, but I'm a big fan of the thoughts behind the new realignment. The user should be in charge to the greatest extent possible. Just like the previous version, the interface is still very beautiful.

Poolga is a excellent resource for drop dead gorgeous iPhone wallpapers. It is also a very beautiful site all on its own. What's even more impressive is how it manages to pull this off without competing with the wallpapers for attention. I love the pixel perfect details, the subtle color variations and the most beautiful sidebar in the history of sidebars. Also, if my memory is not playing tricks on me, the site has slowly turned into this beauty over time through small iterations.

A few days ago, Facebook announced that they had acquired Divvyshot. If I'm not mistaken, Divvyshot launched its redesigned site just a few days prior to the announcement. I'm not sure what's going to happen to the new design and the service, but hopefully someone will make use of Divvyshot's design even after Facebook has merged the service into its own photo sharing service. It's a high class quality design that truly stands out from its competitors, after all.

All the graphic details of the AppZapper site are super yummy. The easing motions of the subnav also works wonders to create an experience almost as smooth as a snow leopard.

Mark Jardine is a mac loving, character sketching, picture snapping designer living in Silicon Valley, California. His tumblog tells me he loves his iPhone. He did in fact design the beautiful Tapbots interface, which bears some resemblance to this yummy tumblog. All in all, Mark pays a lot of attention to details and has a great taste for layered interface graphics.

The tumblelog of Garrett Murray recently got a visual overhaul. You can tell that this guys likes his Macs just by looking at the visuals. I'm not saying that he's copying Apple's designs, most definitely not. I'm just saying that he's showing the same kind of attention to little graphics and typographic details. I'm also saying that I love how this design turned out. It's a simple tumblelog that comes out on top, and I'm diggin' it.

FLAKE.tv is an online television channel dedicated to broadcasting original programming about urban lifestyle, art, fashion, music and overall creative culture. Quite simply a small site with a delicate touch that can satisfy some of the creative craving you've got.

Here's a one-of-a-kind single page portfolio. It's all laid out as one expanding horisontal list of works on display. The navigation works really well and the images are of a high enough quality to make us really drool over his designs. I'm missing permalinks to each project, though. And I would love to be able to right click the images and save them in my "graphical inspiration" folder.

Laurent Baumann (aka AveTenebrae) is a french graphic designer, working in a press agency and doing some icon design during his free time. Although his portfolio site has been around for some time, I just recently rediscovered it as I was collecting the names and portfolios of great icon designer. I think this site definitely deserves some linkage as it is a great example of how to make a site that oozes of Mac. I mean that in a good way. Notice the narrow column, the delicious graphics, the drop shadow and the incredible icons.

I think this is the third redesign of purevolume™ that is featured here on Styleboost. While Ryan Sims has been in charge of the previous two, it's now time for Tyson Rosage to step up to the challenge. He does it with style. While this is no huge leap away from previous installments, it now feels more lightweight, a bit tighter and completely delicious. Once again, purevolume becomes an even better site.
