I love everything about Everyday Photos by young Norwegian designer/photographer Kristian Hjelle. It's a clean and simple little photo blog, and it's perfectly executed. Of course it doesn't hurt that the photos are great. With gorgeous typography and every little detail just feeling right, this makes for an outstanding little site. The only thing I miss is keyboard navigation.

Previously known as BankSimple aka the Future of Banking. I'd like to use the words of Tim van Damme to point out the disruptive momentum in Simple: "This is probably the most anticipated product ever for me". The site itself as well as the screenshots they're showing off look truly stunning. The fact that the current state of online banking UX is in such a bad shape gives Simple a huge opportunity right now. Hopefully the rest will try to catch up soon.

Joshua Topolsky & friends' just launched a very promising new tech news site. It's worth noting that they are creating a true next gen editorial news site. I love the way they've laid out the homepage plus the way they've colored some of the photos. Learn more about this new venture.

It seems that Nest is all the rage today, so why not just post it on Styleboost as well? In all seriousness it looks like a damn fine product — that is accompanied by an equally fine website. It does a great job of making us all drool over a thermostat, of all things.

Campaigns come a dime a dozen, but this one for Mahi online forex trading truly shines. It is quite simple, but stands out by making use of clear and beautiful infographics and stats to explain why you should sign up for an invitation. I wish more digital campaigns took this approach. Head on over to SEOmoz to read more about the campaign.

This clean new architect portfolio site by Bleed and Værsågod feels close to perfect. The color scheme is subtly brilliant. If I have to nit-pick, I think the people filtering should function on hover instead of click, and the news feed is a wee bit confusing/annoying. Via @tobiasbaeck.

A wonderful example of how to make a minimalist website that truly puts the contents front and center. What really struck me with this one is the monochromatic interface combined with such great typography, margins and use of whitespace. Love the dark textured, left-hand sidebar.

Even though With is mostly an iPhone app, there is also a slick website to go along with it. And don't forget it's also Path's Twitter based little brother. I really love the simplicity and the transitions on the site. I'm also assuming the site was designed by @dtrinh, but I may be wrong.

The portfolio site of the Chicago based One Design Company is well worth a closer look. They've put together an impressive double axis navigation scheme that just feels right. It works very well as a portfolio, with large screenshots and photos, and the keyboard navigation is a nice touch. Via Rebekah Cox.
