For ten years, Serial Cut has created fantastic visual works again and again. This time the site takes it up a notch with a fantastic, correct me if I'm wrong, jQuery impersonation of a Flashfolio. Once again, the new works are simply outstanding. Thumbs up!

Krop Creative Database is a database of creative professionals. What's more, it's also a slick portfolio/resume builder. I love the idea behind this service, i.e. a super-beautiful portfolio service for designers, photographers, illustrators, etc. It's been done before, but not with a product this elegant and lickable. The killer feature of this one is the perfect implementation. A looker.

A great Norwegian gem as far as branding, illustration, design and colors go. I have no idea why this one was still not listed on Styleboost.

The portfolio of designer and illustrator Hazim Abdul Hamid is yet another goodie from 2008. Outstanding work.

Merely a placeholder page, but still worth some attention. The illustrations and cute animations are very nicely done, and it all looks super sweet.

Matt Hamm is a Freelance Web Designer from Farnham, Surrey, UK. The welcome illustration, combined with the color scheme made this one stand out from the crowd, imho.

This one is a neat example of a onepage portfolio featuring great graphics and colors. Just too bad that all the text is done as graphics. Why, I wonder. Via My3W.

Here's a one-of-a-kind single page portfolio. It's all laid out as one expanding horisontal list of works on display. The navigation works really well and the images are of a high enough quality to make us really drool over his designs. I'm missing permalinks to each project, though. And I would love to be able to right click the images and save them in my "graphical inspiration" folder.

Not really a full-fledged site. Merely a holding page teasing us with a new desktop app for web designers. Still, Clearleft decides to throw in some extraordinary alpha png details that make this tiny site a one of a kind that deserves some attention. Try resizing the browser window, and you'll see what I'm talking about. That sweet Gorilla comes courtesy of Jon Hicks. Via SimpleBits.

Loïc Sattler's an accomplished designer/illustrator with a love for strong colors and lots and lots of details in his work. In addition to the work, I definitely like how he's laid out the footer area. Very easy to comprehend and still very unique.
