Even though this site really isn't cutting edge as far as web development goes, it sure is cutting edge in the illustration and graphic details department. The quality of the work is truly outstanding. I cannot put into words how much I'm impressed with the graphic details and the textures. This is only surpassed by the unbelievably cool illustrations.

This is the most cpu-intensive site I can ever recall visiting. There's just so much going on, so much interaction, animation, audio and graphics jumping at you, that you can't not enjoy this rollercoaster-ride of a website. I don't understand much, but it sure impresses me on a few levels.

Jonathan Yuen is a multi-disciplinary graphic designer based in Singapore with an online portfolio that has a highly unusual feel to it. The use of audio and animation makes his work stand out from average portfolios. Quite poetic in its style, this one is sure to satisfy many of Styleboost™'s readers.

Chris Erickson's snappy Flash portfolio is filled to the rim with sparkling ideas, designs, illustrations and more. At the same time, the navigation is so smooth and delicate that I can only say two thumbs up two Chris for sharing this beauty with the web.

By looking at the design showcased in this portfolio, it's no surprise that the Christopher Eyerman's site itself is very well designed. Flash is used as it should, if you really feel that you have to make an entire website within Flash.

General Electric's "Imagination at work" campaign aims at marketing the megacorporation as a young, innovative, fresh, creative bunch of friends of the environment. Somehow that does get through to me, even though the Imagination Cubed website is a great piece of work. In fact, it is one of the sharpest and best looking collaborative "web apps" I've seen to date. It's only a tiny site for drawing useless drawings with friends, but all the details are perfect.

Here's a promotional goodie from Macromedia to accompany their Studio 8. The overall layout is hot, but make sure to take a closer look at the seamless implementation of video. Too bad I don't understand so much.

BLU is a complex sketchbook by an illustrative artist. The work is very unusual and very much worth a closer look. Laid out like its supposed to be a direct digitalization of an offline hand-drawn sketchbook, BLU draws your attention right in.

The latest release of Mikkel H. Frandsen's One Eye Black still features an emotional soundscape combined with visual artistry of high quality. Since being first linked up here on Styleboost in May of 2002, OEB has evolved into a more artistic playground.
