For ten years, Serial Cut has created fantastic visual works again and again. This time the site takes it up a notch with a fantastic, correct me if I'm wrong, jQuery impersonation of a Flashfolio. Once again, the new works are simply outstanding. Thumbs up!

Another site I completely forgot to post here on Styleboost a couple of weeks ago was the brand new portfolio site for Norwegian design agency Manual design. Put simply, this site is razor sharp.

Tim Van Damme’s brand new online presence is dead simple. So simple, in fact, that I dare call it genious. Its design is razor sharp. This is exactly what I need for myself. Via Twitter.

Product Planner is a beautiful site. But what's more is that with Product Planner you can view and create user flows, viral loops, etc. This is actually a useful tool for us web designers. It's quite basic stuff, but it's great to see how user flows are used around the web. Truly inspirational and wrapped into a neat little package.

Kyan is a creative web design/development from the UK. Their site features some of the most delicate little graphics and a great color scheme. What's not to like about this accessible site. I really wish I had this one in my own portfolio. Too bad I don't. Via Six Revisions.

Build is a one man London based Graphic Design studio which prides itself on its craft-like approach to print. The Build portfolio is hands down one of the greatest websites I've encountered in my life. The amazing attention to details, the overwhelming simplicity, the lovely shades, the intuitive and unusual navigation, the large product photos. This is one outstanding site that every web designer should take a look at. And there's no Flash to be seen anywhere.

Checkout is the powerful, easy to use point of sale system for the Mac. Use Checkout to take orders, make sales, print invoices and accept payments. Not only does the product look interesting, but the site sure makes the product stand out as both easy to use and look very professional. This is how it should be done.

This site may be a little on the slim side for some of my regular readers. For me, however, this one appears to be a tiny near perfect delicacy. The yummy icons with their slick transitions make me focus on the simplicity. I like it a lot.

Fantasy Interactive recently went and did the only sane thing they could do - they started focusing on web standards instead of all-encompassing Flash-sites. In their own words: "Today in Fi, you will only find Flash in places it needs to be and fits". They will continue to make all-flash microsites. But other than that, I think their work is going to be a lot more relevant from now on ... and a lot more inspiring. What's more, they're now "The Interactive Firm".
