It's always great to take a closer look at portfolios where the work contained within is among the best in its field. Here's a motion studio that truly knows their medium, and have some awe inspiring work to show for it. The markup behind the site isn't perfect, but I love the fact that they've done this one without the use of Flash.

Some people are so skilled and multi-talented that it almost pisses you off. Danish designer Jesper Bentzen produces loads of jaw-dropping work across so many disciplines that you cannot visit his website without feeling a sense of awe. It's incredible how he manages to produce so much superb work and still wrap it in a delicious top of the line Flash wrapping. We can only guess how many hours Jesper spends in his office.

Motherland is a design studio specializing in broadcast, film and animation. Their site is very small and concise (an example to follow), all laid out in one short page. The broadcast work on display is sparkling and sharp. The colors and details are great throughout this portfolio.

This is one of a very few Flash-dependent sites I've come across that actually validates as XHTML 1.0 strict! I'm impressed. Beautiful, simple, well structured and quite usable. I love the menu mouseover effect and the works in the portfolio.

Even though the navigation on this one is quite similar to the one used on http://www.phantomresearchfoundation.com it works even better here. It's so downright to the point that you can't misunderstand it. Great implementation.

Once again, freelance Dutch designer Joost Korngold's updates Renascent. He's still the same image wiz we have learned to know over the years; with a great love of ambient colours and space-age art. A true professional.
