Flashalicious site design and implementation by Fluid. A very limited color palette and slick interaction combine forces to give us a strong user experience. On the negative side, the motion makes for a bit chaotic structure.

Here's a promotional goodie from Macromedia to accompany their Studio 8. The overall layout is hot, but make sure to take a closer look at the seamless implementation of video. Too bad I don't understand so much.

Finally. It took a while, but this time the guys over at Paregos are finally back in business with a fresh showcase site. Flash all the way with great success. They manage to keep it simple while at the same time introducing a [kind of] new way of scrolling contents.

BLU is a complex sketchbook by an illustrative artist. The work is very unusual and very much worth a closer look. Laid out like its supposed to be a direct digitalization of an offline hand-drawn sketchbook, BLU draws your attention right in.

Karen Gwyer is a designer who sticks to effective simplicity in her impressive Flash portfolio. The selection of various views and close-ups of each work on display is quite unusual, as well as the obvious centered 'info'-button. Unusual presentation worth a look.

Australian designer Soren Luckins' small agency Buro North hits a high note with a combination of electric blue and grey. I very tight and responsive implementation in Flash makes for a sweet user experience.

The Toronto based Canandian offices of Leo Burnett have launched a truly creative Flash site. The advertising industry has been embracing Flash for many years, and I'm sure they will continue to embrace it for years to come. It's the best tool out there for realizing wild ideas like this one.

Highly confusing and, after a few seconds, highly hypnotizing. I find myself laughing both at it as well as with it. That's a metaphor. Yeah, whatever. Still, the site is outstanding and well done. Hooray for Silas and Maria.

Another unusual movie/TV site from Hi-ReS!. Although it is similar in concept and style to older Hi-ReS! sites (e.g. Donnie Darko), this one takes it further both technically and concept-wise. They have perfected their own concept.
