This one is a neat example of a onepage portfolio featuring great graphics and colors. Just too bad that all the text is done as graphics. Why, I wonder. Via My3W.

Mr. Doob just started working for Hi-ReS!, which in turn brought my attention to his blog/portfolio, which is quite rad. The blog is a beauty and the works on display show off some of the best Flash work I've ever seen. Especially being just one person. Impressive.

Build is a one man London based Graphic Design studio which prides itself on its craft-like approach to print. The Build portfolio is hands down one of the greatest websites I've encountered in my life. The amazing attention to details, the overwhelming simplicity, the lovely shades, the intuitive and unusual navigation, the large product photos. This is one outstanding site that every web designer should take a look at. And there's no Flash to be seen anywhere.

Online portfolio of Norwegian graphic designer Gjermund Rein Gustavsen and his studio Divensis Design. I know from experience that Gjermund is a very talented and determined designer who pays a lot of attention to the very smallest details. His brand new portfolio is a treat to behold, and my only issue with his site is the heavy load of the background image and logo is fixed. Go Gjermund!

Webdesigner superman Jason Santa Maria is back with a "rethinking" of his personal portfolio site. You probably all know his work by now, so I don't need to tell you that this site is great, just like everything else he turns his mind to. This is all about information, and presenting it perfectly.

Here's a one-of-a-kind single page portfolio. It's all laid out as one expanding horisontal list of works on display. The navigation works really well and the images are of a high enough quality to make us really drool over his designs. I'm missing permalinks to each project, though. And I would love to be able to right click the images and save them in my "graphical inspiration" folder.

Laurent Baumann (aka AveTenebrae) is a french graphic designer, working in a press agency and doing some icon design during his free time. Although his portfolio site has been around for some time, I just recently rediscovered it as I was collecting the names and portfolios of great icon designer. I think this site definitely deserves some linkage as it is a great example of how to make a site that oozes of Mac. I mean that in a good way. Notice the narrow column, the delicious graphics, the drop shadow and the incredible icons.

Marcus Eriksson is back with another redesign of Subdisc. It came out a couple of months ago and managed to slip past my radar. This time it's all about crystal sharp photography in a smooth flash portfolio. This is crisp and excellent stuff once again from Marcus.

This site may be a little on the slim side for some of my regular readers. For me, however, this one appears to be a tiny near perfect delicacy. The yummy icons with their slick transitions make me focus on the simplicity. I like it a lot.
