I love the way Ricardo lays out his portfolio in one long page in a greyscale wrapping. The works stand out as the works of art they truly are. Too bad the site makes extensive use of popups instead of slick Lightbox overlays, and tables instead of more correct semantic markup. Still a very good example of a well laid out portfolio with a tasteful design.

Juanma Teixidó's Ten Thousand Things is a blog filled with webdesign, XHTML CSS, books and a few other things. Juanma is Paraguay's finest web designer (among other things), located in Asunción. Juanma recently won Veerle's What is graphic design poster competition, which is how I rediscovered this gem. Through his work for NOS/SUM, Juanma has done some spectacular work.

Genoco is the interactive portfolio of multimedia designer, Phil Lu. This portfolio is filled with great interactive and web work. I came across the site through his incredible Starbucks QuickOrder concept designs, which is just one of many mesmerizing works on display.

Letters & Numbers is a portfolio site featuring delicious design work by Steve Rura. Based in Brooklyn, Steve has done some quite impressive work across numerous media and techniques. The interface works well. This could all have been done in Flash, but then we wouldn't have been able to check out his source code to learn. Via Kitsune Noir.

Dan Cederholm just gave his world famous SimpleBits a brand new coat. It's the same but it's different. The latest realignment by Dan is my favorite version to date. He manages to keep a lot while changing it quite radically. This time he's going for an elastic grid that scales beautifully in my browser. This has to be one of the most impressive site designs I've ever seen. Via Shaun Inman.

Toggle is an award winning web, branding and packaging company with a website that makes you say 'yummy!' - at least that was my reaction. The colors are a perfect match, the logo is sharp, the CSS/JS details are great, and the overall friendly presentation is a winner. We should all keep an eye on these folks in the future. I'm sure there will be more wonders created soon.

Loïc Sattler's an accomplished designer/illustrator with a love for strong colors and lots and lots of details in his work. In addition to the work, I definitely like how he's laid out the footer area. Very easy to comprehend and still very unique.

Graphic design and illustration portfolio from Philadelphia. I love the yellow and black combined with the huge background image. Very nice! I've already fallen in love with several of the work samples he's displaying. That illustrative style is so smooth.

Kokokaka is a production company located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Founded in 2001 and has since produced some of the most awarded web commercials in the world. There's probably quite a few in their portfolio that you will recall. There's no suprise that Flash is used throughout, and it works well for them. Wonderful site.

Berlin based design of sorts Paul Wagner has put together a portfolio with a strong identity. This comes partly from the use of powerful use of black and white colors throughout, and partly from the work he's showcasing.
