Frank Chimero is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Missouri. Frank also runs a blog called Questionable Characters with the esteemed Ben Barry. Frank's site is an example to follow. It's basically a combination of static pages (Home & Profile), Tumblr based pages (Blog & Ethos) and a Cargo based Work section. I love how he's mixed all these together and made it so beautiful and readable.

Slovenian Sara Tušar Suhadolc is a webdesigner at Innovatif who has worked on projects for clients such as Volkswagen, McDonalds, Mercator, Mobitel and many others. Sara specializes in semantic (X)HTML, handcrafted CSS, web typography, newsletter design and occasional Flash animation. I love the illustrations, the colors and all the details (e.g. the clickable monsters).

In the same fashion as JasonSanta Maria, YaronSchoen and Dustin Curtis, Trent Walton individually designs every single blog post/article he writes. Beautiful and inspirational. Now all I need to do, is turn my simple tumblelog into something beautiful, personal and intelligent. Via @paravelinc.

I'm selling colors, the tagline for Adhemas Batista's portfolio site is very fitting. His work makes powerful use of bold colors often combined with abstract or almost psychedelic shapes and imagery. I've been so lucky to have had the joy of relying on his services a few years ago, and can attest to his mad skills. His portfolio was last showcased here on Styleboost in 2006, but was recently redesigned.

Easily one of the best sites I've seen in a long time. Personal portfolio/blog sites for designers come a dime a dozen, Yaron has created a remarkable combination of colors, illustrations, typography and whitespace. My favorite part about his site is how he has individually designed project page and blog post. Exquisite work.

HiiDef Inc. is a web product incubator started in 2008 by a team from Vimeo, Meetup, Pronto, IAC/InterActiveCorp and Digitalmash. My favorite part about this site? The large type, theexcellent use of colors and the tiled background, combined with an intuitive interface, of course.

Despite discovering this site through Smashing Magazine's Showcase of Web Design In Germany, I find this Swiss site to to be quite a beauty. There are so many details, and the changeable background color is a nice touch.

Despite being a Marmite lover, Simon is a skilled Creative Director at Erskine Design. His recently relaunched portfolio is a beauty that really shines through its use of great typography and wonderful illustrations. Via Factoryjoe's Flickr stream.

Another fantastic single page portfolio. What really makes this one stand out is the super bold navigation (= excellent typography), as well as the high quality of the works shown. Truly bad ass work by ex-TDR designer David Bailey.

Wes West, a creative designer at Torchbox has got himself a simply beautiful single page portfolio. I guess the way the works on display are opened could have been a little bit slicker, but all in all very nice.
