The World Domination Design Group updates their portfolio once again. This time they've taken a huge leap from the CSS/XHTML design to a retro 50's info-film style. It's very humorous, delicious to behold and amazingly well implemented. I'm impressed by the quality of the video work. In fact it looks so good that I think they're giving a nod to Hollywood, in case anyone there needs a website. Great site!

There are many video sites out there. There are three main reasons why I'm adding this one to the Styleboost database. 1) It is quick and simple to use, 2) the videos are chosen by editors and are of high video quality, and 3) the way a still of the video currently playing is shown in the background is unique and quite cool.

GrupoW has created Stuntman, the new unbreakable toy. With this completely articulated action figure, you could release all your accumulated adrenalin after spending all those hours sitting in your office. Using the mouse can be a bit frustrating, at least for me, but the keyboard controls work like a charm. I especially like the opening sequence. It's amazing.

Another sweet, sweet site design by Daniel Burka. This one is closely related to his work with Kevin Rose and Digg. Hopefully he will continue applying his unique style and graphics to new websites in the future. I especially love the way the navigation is laid out vertically, wrapping the green arrow around and behind the list - still keeping it slightly visible.

Belgian photographer/director Kurt Stallaert's excellent portfolio sadly makes use of a fullscreen popup to show off his top notch work. It even tries to force a fullscreen popup on its visitors. I'm sure this is going to leave many potential fans leaving before they even take a look at what he's capable of creating. Too bad.

Another über-nice Flash campaign straight from Scandinavia. This time it's McCann Oslo and North Kingdom who are churning out a beautiful mix of video, 3D and interaction. Their Client, Statoil, wants to show how important their natural gas is in providing our lives with wondrous energy, and McCann/North Kingdom uses their skills to show off this in a way that only can be achieved by the use of Flash. You really should take a closer look.

Nike were on top of their game five years ago as far as designing websites go. They still are. Just take a look at the latest expansion of NikeGolf, which shows how Flash and highly advanced video can be combined to create art.

Motherland is a design studio specializing in broadcast, film and animation. Their site is very small and concise (an example to follow), all laid out in one short page. The broadcast work on display is sparkling and sharp. The colors and details are great throughout this portfolio.

Another high tech Flash site from South Korea (I presume). What strikes me as strange is the mix of English and Korean. Very strange, indeed. It's even stranger than how Danish people speak. The site boasts some cool effects to show off the power of IMAX.

People seem to love Wefail's trademark style. To my great surprise, they manage to pull off something original and highly humorous once again. The navigation works great and the new timeline is a welcome way of interacting with the storyline and environment.
