9 rules member Neil Patel write about anything related to online marketing, search engine optimization, and buzz marketing. I've found some good reads on there, and I'm sure to check out some more as soon as I have time. What strikes me most about his site, though, is how unbelievable pretty it is. The graphical details, the layout and the colors are just perfect.

Veerle's blog 2.0 is exactly that; it's a blog and it's Web 2.0. Correct if I'm mistaken, but Veerle is probably Belgium's greatest talent in the web design community these days. For those of you who are wondering why I'm posting this on Styleboost™ now, I can only say that I'm trying to fill a few gaps in the database. This is one of them. I'm posting it becuase it's such a beautiful and detailed site. The colors, the illustrations, the icons, the code.

Although Tick is still in beta, I've had a chance to try this new web app out for a short while. What first struck me with this site is how beautiful it is. Highly inspired by 37 signals' trademark design style, Tick takes this to another level with an increased attention to details. The second thing that struck me with Tick is that the service they're providing is just what I'm looking for.

Long time Styleboost™ friend Colin Cameron finally let his great project out of the bag. LogoPond has been dugg more than 2000 times and has been a tremendous success. The idea is to create an inspirational logo gallery much like Styleboost™ is a website gallery. Users can add their own logos and discuss others' logos.

The Flock website was redesigned to accompany the launch of the first public beta of Flock. This task was completed with great success, bringing several of this wonderful browser's attractive features and assets to the foreground. The new site was created by several stars of the current web design/development scene, including Bryan Veloso who has written a small blog post about the development process.

Dark Eye is something along the same lines as Styleboost™; a web design link database. The main differences lie in the more "Web 2.0" approach with a pallette counter and generally much more powerful crawling of the sites listed. I especially love the thumbnail feature!

Listen, Sync, Create. With a tagline like that, Odeo obviously has its mind set on podcasts - and podcasts alone. Making use of a combination of bullet-proof web design methods by Dan Cederholm, combined with AJAX code by Dunstan Orchard and a teeny bit of Flash for the players, Odeo is a functional beauty.

When we're at it (i.e. posting photo-sites), what's more natural than posting Flickr?! Probably mankind's finest photo-related project to date (big words, I know) manages the overwhelming task of implementing a super-simple but extremely powerful photo community. This one I love.
